It's with great sadness that I write to members to inform them of the passing of David Williamson.

David has represented the Club's first teams in both tennis and squash, won club championships in both sports and participated in all aspects of club-life during his association with BLT&SRC which goes back over 40 years. He acted as a Trustee of the club.

David's appearances at the club have been limited over the last 12 months due to his illness but during my recent conversations, he has often reflected about the important part the club had played in his life.

Our thoughts go out to his wife Alison and his children Andrew, Matthew and Sophie at this very difficult time. His funeral arrangements will be made available to members who wish to attend - please contact the club if you would like to receive notification of these details once they have been confirmed.

David has been a great and generous friend to me and other members and he'll be sorely missed.
