We had another great and successful finals day this past Saturday. The weather was kind enough to be not too hot and not rain for too long! 

We had over 30 finals to be played over the day with some great tennis on show over all levels, under 8s to over 60s!

There were some first-time winners in the main singles events with Matt Purnell and Lisa Greenfield winning the men’s and ladies’ singles respectively. The open doubles were won by Tom Lamming and Ollie Fradgley in the men’s event and Anna Styles and Lisa Greenfield in the women’s event. Josh Sapwell reclaimed the mixed doubles title with partner Tessa King in an absolute battle of a match against Andy Ring and Anna Styles.

A big thank you to Adam Suggett our tennis chairman and Tracey Mackey our fixtures secretary for helping in a big way over the day. And of course, to our club president Sue Wolstenholme for presenting the awards.
