Defibrillator (AED)

The Club has an automated external debrillator (AED) on site.

It is located in the players bar on the wall between the main entrance to the club and the office door.

An AED is a portable device that checks the heart rhythm and if needed, it can send an electric shock to the heart to try and restore a normal rhythm.

The AED is simple to use and is designed to be adminstered without any training. A calming voice talks the user through every step and if the casualty has a heartbeat, the device will not work so there is no risk of shocking the patient.

You can view a demonstration video on how to use our AED here
