Indoor Tennis Centre
Berkhamsted is currently in Tier 2 under the government COVID-19 guidelines, as such the following restrictions apply to indoor tennis:
* Singles permitted for all adults
* Singles & doubles for disabled people and supervised activity for U18s
We have 2 high quality indoor tennis courts which are available to members and non-members to book. The court surface is "Kushion Kourts" which provides an excellent mid-speed suitable for all standards of play.
All play has to be pre-paid.
Members need to create a credit balance in their account, either directly into the booking machine, by cheque or card via the office or by Paypal by clicking on Court Booking.
Non-Members If you are a non-member and would like to book the indoor courts please contact the Club Manager at email@example.com. The office is manned on a part time basis so last minute non-member bookings may not be possible. Please try and book at least a few days ahead. Due to COVID-19 we cannot offer non-member booking accounts for the time being.
Please note we do not offer a racket or ball hiring service - you will need to bring your own.
Courts are available at the following times, 7 days a week:
30 minute bookings between 7am and 10pm
90 minute bookings from 7pm to 10pm for block bookings
Please note that it is recommend that users of the Indoor Tennis Centre wear clean, smooth soled tennis footwear only.
No food or hot drinks are to be consumed in the ITC.

Block bookings are available for both members and non-members and a discount is available for block bookings of 10 or more consecutive weeks.

How to Cancel a Court
Single sessions must be cancelled directly on the booking system either online or at the kiosk in the clubhouse. To cancel online, log into your booking account, select 'Your Booking Details' and then select the court you wish to cancel. To cancel via the kiosk, log into your account, select 'View Status' and then select the court you wish to cancel.
Block booked sessions must be cancelled by contacting the Club Manager.
