Junior Competition

At BLT & SRC we run a complete programme of Mini Tennis and Junior Tournaments. Competition is important in developing your tennis, allowing you to put the skills learnt in coaching sessions to the test. Above all, competition should be fun. By using our fantastic indoor facilities for most of the competitions we can ensure that rain never stops play!

Even if your child has never competed before, our events for players with Mini Tennis Ratings 3 & 4 are a great place to start. At Mini Red level parents help to score matches, ensuring that players of all abilities enjoy their first experience of competing. The rating refers to the LTA rating not - the squad they attend at the club. In order to compete in any events at the club, players must be signed up for British Tennis Membership.
