Club Tournament 2010
The Squash Finals took place on the evening of Sunday 6th June.The event was a big success with entry levels at their highest for some years, and having the Finals Day on it's new Sunday slot proved to be very popular!
The results were as follows:
Open final:
Scott Rickard v Ali Coker. Scott won 3-1 and is the Open Champion (Ali blames a thigh injury for his loss....)
Open Plate:
James Deacon v Paul Romagnoli Paul won 3-0 and is Open Plate Champion (James blames the pressures of organising for his loss....)
Vets Open:
Paul Harris v James Cooper Paul won 3-1 and retains his Vets Open title.
Vets Plate:
John Chesters v Kevin Spratt Kevin won 3-1 and is Vets Open Plate champion.
Vintage Open:
Tony Clifford v John Chesters Tony won 3-1 and retains his Vintage Open title.
Handicap:
Mark Shattock (-20) v Oliver Carr (+10) Oliver won 3-1 in a very entertaining game and is Handicap Champion.
The Racketball Open Tournament will be in September, so keep your eyes out for that!!!
